The IVF Bioscience team recently joined more than 200 members of the AETE for the 34th annual scientific convention in Nantes. The two-day meeting included a vast selection of interesting talks and meetings, along with fun-packed social evenings.
What did we get up to?
Our team met with a wide array of attendees, including practitioners, experts in the field and also fellow exhibitors.
The meeting also presented an excellent opportunity for us to meet a handful of our customers in person and discuss their individual laboratory requirements with our experienced team.
Dr Lotte Stroebech, our Scientific Advisor, was also deservingly elected onto the official AETE board. Congratulations Lotte!
2017 Statistics
The official AETE statistics indicated a remarkable increase in in vitro embryo production. 2017 figures of in vitro embryo production were the highest in Europe since AETE records began. We were also pleased to learn of a large increase in equine IVF in 2017.
What did people come to our stand for?
Do you offer media for vitrification or slow freezing?
We offer vitrification kits for the freezing and warming of blastocysts. The system is a 3-step cooling and 4-step warming process, and both are based on DMSO and ethylene glycol formulations. Although conventional freezing is more practical as it allows for direct transfers, more and more commercial labs prefer vitrification of their IVF embryos due to higher pregnancy rates.
How is your equine range coming along?
