See what our customers say about IVF Bioscience media
“ We wish to express our gratitude to the team at IVF Bioscience for their resources and product support. The bovine media suite has been an incredibly convenient and effective solution in building out a more robust IVP workflow while saving time on media preparation. Thanks to the educational resources on best practices they provided we have been able to optimize the protocol after beginning use of IVF Bioscience Media, resulting in consistently high development rates and good quality embryos. “
Patrick Crane
Laboratory Manager at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University
“ We recently established our animal IVF laboratory and started to collaborate with IVF Bioscience. As this was a new way to reproduce animals in our country, we had many questions and uncertainties, many of which were dealt with by the IVF Bioscience team. Since using IVF Bioscience media we have achieved a 60% blastocyst rate and a good pregnancy rate in fresh cycles. We are grateful to the IVF Bioscience team for their support and guidance “

Embryologist at the Institute of Contemporary Veterinary Technologies, Ukraine
“ I had the pleasure of attending one of IVF Bioscience’s training courses in 2018. The genuinely friendly atmosphere of the course made for a great learning environment and I received training from real experts in the field. I particularly enjoyed the chance of discussing troubleshooting and project ideas in bespoke 1 to 1 sessions. Even though the contents focus specifically on cattle IVP, I found that many of the strategies taught are widely applicable to other species as well. I would recommend this course to beginners and more established practitioners alike. “

“ As part of our ongoing research using abattoir-derived oocytes, we conducted ICSI with the IVF Bioscience equine media suite. We were very pleased with the results; we achieved 80% maturation, 68% cleavage, and 30% blastocyst rates. The time and resources saved by using this ready to use media suite has allowed us to focus our efforts on further optimization of our IVP system and has eliminated the variability observed using in-house formulations. ”

Laboratory Director at Catholic University of Argentina
” We have been using IVF Bioscience’s media suite in our IVF laboratory and achieved blastocyst rates of up to 75% in slaughterhouse trials. In the last three years, we have produced 6,000 OPU embryos from non-stimulated donors, resulting in 3,000 live births. Using Transfer medium for fresh OPU-IVP embryo transfers, we achieve an average pregnancy rate of 58% and up to 50% from vitrified embryos.
We are grateful for the visits from IVF Bioscience as these have helped to improve our confidence in the laboratory. “
Ruben Francisco Vazquez, PhD
Person Responsible for IVF Laboratory at Xenetica Fontao
” The use of IVF Bioscience media has significantly improved our development rates (maturation, cleavage, and blastocyst) and embryo quality for both our equine and bovine in vitro fertilization studies. The use of defined media and the protocols provided by IVF Bioscience have streamlined the in vitro embryo production in our laboratory. “
Chelsey Leisinger, PhD
Adjunct Assistant Professor at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine
” We have found IVF Bioscience media to be very effective in supporting in vitro bovine embryo development to blastocyst. We observe excellent cumulus expansion during IVM and high cleavage rates (over 75% cleaved) following IVF.
Blastocyst production using the BO system from IVF Bioscience is high (over 50% blastocysts from cleaved), and the embryos are of good quality with many embryos hatching in vitro. We have been extremely pleased with how this system has worked in our laboratory. “
Rebecca Krisher, PhD
Research Director at CCRM Research
” I have had very good results with IVF Bioscience media. I’ve had a production between 30-45% of blastocysts from bovine slaughterhouse ovaries, and a 55% average production with bovine OPU. The media is very comfortable to use and works very well. Although the maturation rates were equal to my comparison, the fertilisation rates are higher, with a cleavage rate of 83% (vs 75%) using the same sperm. We compared the BO-IVC culture medium against aaSOF and CSC Irvine. The result was the IVF Bioscience media walked through better, had more development, and better quality. Congratulations to IVF Bioscience. “

Director General of Crest View Genetics Argentina & Deputy Investigator of CONICET
” IVF Bioscience media has helped us to improve the blastocyst rate and their quality; and led to stable embryo production that is important both in science and breeding industry. “
Ülle Jaakma, PhD
Vice-Rector of Research at Eesti Maaülikool, Estonia
” Using IVF Bioscience media I had beautiful blasts that made great biopsies and responded as though they had just been collected from the donor. IVF Bioscience media gives me the flexibility to prioritize when the embryos are biopsied. “
Matt Barten
Owner of Embruon
” I have been testing IVF Bioscience media and one other source. I had very good success with my first round with goat ovaries using IVF Bioscience media and haven’t had as much success with the competitor. I really do prefer IVF Bioscience media. “
Dawn Bresnahan, MS, PhD. Assistant Professor

” We have used IVF Bioscience media for production of IVF embryos and we have been getting excellent results. Twenty-eight cows have so far been impregnated, with embryos developed with ova from four high-yielding indigenous breeds. “
Dr Shyam Zawar
CEO at JK Bovagenix
” We have evaluated an entire suite of media developed by IVF Bioscience and experienced some of the first real advances in improving development rates and embryo quality. The systems are robust in producing the highest quality embryos ever produced in our lab. “
