IVF Bioscience Training Courses
Our IVP training courses are designed to provide a foundation in the skills and techniques needed to establish a successful IVF laboratory, as well as optimising transferable blastocyst rates in existing laboratories. Attendees will be trained in the techniques of Bovine IVF using the IVF Bioscience protocol and media suite.
In addition to this, attendees have the opportunity to learn key skills required for Equine ICSI and / or embryo cryopreservation (slow freezing and vitrification) in our optional modules.
Run by Dr Lotte Stroebech and her highly experienced team, the course will reinforce theoretical knowledge of in vitro embryo production techniques with practical hands-on training in a highly focused learning environment.
During the course each participant receives individual training to develop knowledge and skills in:
Quality control & quality assurance
Laboratory setup and equipment
General laboratory protocols
Recordkeeping and reporting of results

Each day will start with a theoretical introduction before the hands-on sessions. There will also be time allocated for individual consultancy on the specific requirements of each attendee’s laboratory.

Continuing consultancy and advice for effective in-lab implementation is also available to all attendees following completion of the course.
